SuperEnalotto SuperStar

The SuperStar is an extra number that can be added to the selection of six main numbers, giving you the chance to win bigger prizes. The SuperStar option costs 50 cents per play and increases the number of prizes you can win from 7 to 15. The SuperStar is drawn from a separate urn from the main draw, and it contains numbers between 1 and 90.

How SuperStar Works

When you purchase a SuperEnalotto play, you have the option to choose the SuperStar number for an additional 50 cents. The SuperStar is drawn from a separate urn. This means you can choose the same number as both a main number and a SuperStar. Alternatively, you can select it randomly using the Hidden SuperStar option or one of the various Quick Pick options available.

SuperStar

The SuperStar is drawn from the second urn immediately after the main SuperEnalotto draw and the Jolly number.

If the number you selected matches the drawn SuperStar, you win a prize.

SuperStar Prizes

SuperStar prizes start from a minimum of €5, which can be won by matching only the SuperStar number, and increase depending on how many main SuperEnalotto numbers you match in the same draw.

If you match all six SuperEnalotto numbers plus the SuperStar, you receive a bonus of €2 million in addition to the multi-million euro jackpot. There is also a SuperBonus of €1 million for those who match the SuperStar along with five main numbers plus the Jolly.

[1] If there is more than one winner in this category, the prize shown will be divided equally. In exceptional circumstances, if the value of the prizes exceeds both the jackpot value and the reserve fund, the prizes may be worth less than what is shown.

[2] The average prize amount is calculated based on results from 07/07/2023 to 09/09/2025. These amounts are purely illustrative and do not correspond to any real or future winnings.

[3] The SuperStar jackpot corresponds to 60% of the game’s collection from the additional cost of SuperStar plays, similar to the main game. However, SuperStar prizes are fixed amounts or multiples of some main SuperEnalotto prizes; therefore, the amounts assigned often differ from those coming from the game’s collection. If the total prizes are less than 60% of the game’s collection, the excess money is paid into the reserve fund, which will be used to finance future draws where the total prizes exceed 60%.

In exceptional circumstances, if the value of the prizes won exceeds both the jackpot value and the reserve fund, according to the rules, the winnings are reassigned as shown in this table:

Points Prize*
6 + SuperStar 6-point prize + €2 million*
5 + Jolly + SuperStar 5 + Jolly prize + €1 million*
5 + SuperStar 5-point prize + 2.9% of SuperStar jackpot
4 + SuperStar 4-point prize + 11.6% of SuperStar jackpot
3 + SuperStar 3-point prize + 35.4% of SuperStar jackpot
2 + SuperStar 2-point prize + 21.4% of SuperStar jackpot
1 + SuperStar 13.7% of SuperStar jackpot
0 + SuperStar 15% of SuperStar jackpot

* After the draw, each fixed amount prize is deducted from the jackpot, and the remaining amount is divided according to the percentages shown.
