Systems and Strategies
The only sure way to win the SuperEnalotto jackpot is by purchasing all 622,614,630 possible combinations. However, you can increase your chances of winning by using one (or more) of the following systems and strategies.
The best way to increase your chances of winning is by purchasing more combinations, which can easily be done in several ways.
Full Systems
Instead of choosing just the standard combination of six numbers out of 90, you can select more numbers and play a full system. By using this method, you play every possible combination of six numbers from the numbers you choose. For example, if you select seven numbers, you have seven combinations of six numbers, costing a total of 7 €, while if you select eight numbers, you generate 28 different combinations, costing a total of 28 €.
With full systems, you can also play SuperStar. The following table shows how the cost of plays increases with the number of possible combinations, but remember, your chances of winning increase as you add more numbers to your selection.
| Numbers Chosen | Combinations | Jackpot Odds | Cost (without SuperStar) | Cost (with one SuperStar) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | 1 | 1 in 622,614,630 | 1 € | 1.50 € |
| 7 | 7 | 1 in 88,944,947 | 7 € | 10.50 € |
| 8 | 28 | 1 in 22,236,237 | 28 € | 42 € |
| 9 | 84 | 1 in 7,412,079 | 84 € | 126 € |
| 10 | 210 | 1 in 2,964,832 | 210 € | 315 € |
Multistella System
You can play full systems by selecting multiple SuperStar numbers using specially created Multistella systems. Here's how they work:
Multistella 7
- 10 full systems of 7 numbers, with 1 SuperStar per system: 105 €
Multistella 8
- 5 full systems of 8 numbers, with 1 SuperStar per system: 210 €
- 10 full systems of 8 numbers, with 1 SuperStar per system: 420 €
- 15 full systems of 8 numbers, with 1 SuperStar per system: 630 €
Multistella 9
- 5 full systems of 9 numbers, with 1 SuperStar per system: 630 €
- 10 full systems of 9 numbers, with 1 SuperStar per system: 1,260 €
Reduced Systems
A more affordable option is reduced full systems. With them, you can choose more than six numbers, but since not all possible combinations are purchased, you have fewer chances of matching all six drawn numbers and winning the jackpot.
However, you can still have great chances of winning lower-tier prizes, depending on the reduced system played. For example:
- With a G3 system, if you match six numbers, you're guaranteed at least one "3." If you match five numbers, you win at least one "2." The cost of a G3 system starts from a minimum of 10 €, and you can play a minimum of 20 numbers, up to a maximum of 33.
- With a G4 system, if you match six numbers, you're guaranteed at least one "4." If you match five numbers, you win at least one "3." If you match four numbers, you win at least one "2." The cost of a G4 system starts from a minimum of 10 numbers, and you can play a minimum of 13 numbers, up to a maximum of 33.
- With a G5 system, if you match six numbers, you're guaranteed at least one "5." If you match five numbers, you win at least one "4." If you match four numbers, you win at least one "3." If you match three numbers, you win at least one "2." The cost of a G5 system starts from a minimum of 14 €, and you can choose a minimum of 10 numbers, up to a maximum of 12.
The greater the chances of winning, the higher the prize of the reduced SuperEnalotto system you play.
Bases and variants are systemic plays where you select specific numbers that will appear in every combination played, and then create various combinations using a second set of numbers. The ticket has two matrices of 90 numbers, and you can choose 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers in the first matrix, which will appear in all combinations, and in the second matrix, you can choose the numbers to create the variants.
Base and variant options are classified from B1 to B5, with the numbers representing the number of base numbers selected. For example, if you play a B5 with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 as the base and numbers 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 as variants, you would play the following combinations:

By playing with other participants, you have the advantage of playing more combinations for the same SuperEnalotto draw without having to purchase all the combinations yourself. Playing with others increases your chances of winning, but it also means that any prizes won will have to be shared with all the other participants.
Player groups are usually made up of family members, friends, or coworkers. Alternatively, through the Sisal system board, you can share the cost of a system with other players, both in-store and online.
