SuperEnalotto Jolly Number
In addition to selecting the six main numbers of SuperEnalotto and the optional SuperStar number, there is also the possibility of winning thanks to the Jolly number. This gives players who match five of the six winning numbers a chance to increase the value of their prize.
How the Jolly Works
The Jolly number is drawn from the same barrel as the main SuperEnalotto numbers. Those who match five of the six main numbers plus the Jolly win the “5+Jolly” prize, also known as “5+1”.
Million
Unlike the SuperStar, you don't need to select the Jolly number on the ticket. The Jolly only comes into play when you match five main numbers: there are no prize categories for matching the Jolly along with fewer than five main numbers.
However, there is no additional cost to win with the Jolly number.
Jolly Prizes
The prizes for “5+1” are always much higher than those for the “5” category, and they usually amount to hundreds of thousands of euros. Moreover, if you chose the SuperStar option and match both the Jolly and the SuperStar along with five main numbers, you will receive a bonus of one million euros in addition to the “5+1” prize.
